Cook Stars offer a range of fun, relaxed and friendly cookery and craft classes. We encourage a love of good food and teach children and teens how to prepare delicious meals from scratch.

By its very nature cooking is great fun for children! Our classes keep kids engaged and interested throughout with both cookery and arts/crafts at each class. We provide all ingredients, cooking equipment, an apron, a craft activity, packaging and cooking know-how. Everyone takes home their lovely dish along with a recipe card to cook again at home.

Every class offers plenty of hands-on experience of preparing different dishes each week, exploring a variety of ingredients, trying out delicious new foods and having lots of messy fun in the process!

Classes are centred around fun and enjoyment, but our children also learn important practical life skills and healthy eating messages along the way.

Cook Stars Academy (age 11-17)
We teach a huge array of amazing main courses and delicious puddings using a variety of techniques to build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings.

Music Makers offer day summer music courses for children aged 5-18 in Wimbledon, Salisbury and both day and residential options in Fordingbridge.

Our enthusiastic specialist teachers encourage each young musician to fully develop their abilities and confidence in playing and performing during classes that are great fun as well as educational.

Courses are five days long and culminate in a presentation concert of some of the music rehearsed during the week. Our popular courses are grouped according to age:

• Juniors - Age 5-6 (all abilities)
• Intermediates - Age 7-10 (all abilities)
• Seniors - Age 8-18 (Grades 2 - 8)

The residential course is jam packed full of musical, social and sporting activities including choir, swimming in the outdoor heated pool, karaoke, table football, unihoc, volleyball, rounders, football, tennis, informal concerts, a music quiz, discos, film nights and wide games including the legendary Customs and Smugglers!

DM Dance Centre offers a wide range of children's dance classes in Southampton for you to have a go at. All our classes are ongoing and are for beginners, intermediates and advanced dancers, so there is something for everyone and every age.

If your child is aged between 3 and 8 then they will love our Ready Steady Dance Class on a Saturday morning between 9.30-10.15am. We do a bit of everything including, ballroom and latin, cheerleading and freestyle and the children work towards rosettes that they take every three months. They are then awarded a certificate and a sash for them to collect their rosettes on. All our classes are on a pay as you go scheme so you don’t have to sign up in advance.

Our Saturday programme for children over 8 is a great way to learn a wide range of different dance styles. From 10.15 - 3.00pm we offer several different classes, (see timetable for more information), including Salsa, Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Musical Theatre and Street/Hip Hop. You can do as many or as little as you like so you can come to one class or all of them! And the more you come to the less you pay for each session. In these classes we also work towards medal tests every three months, when the child is awarded a medal and certificate. All our classes are on a pay as you go scheme so you don’t have to sign up in advance. We also run children's dance workshops during the holidays and a Children's dance summer school.

Built in 1898 as a water tower serving Winchester, The Tower has seen many changes in its 100 year history. These days it heads an increasingly varied arts programme for Winchester and the wider community.

The Tower is home to the Winchester Youth Theatre, the hugely successful Winchester Children's Festival and also produces a special seasonal newsletter which goes into all local junior and primary schools. With a weekly programme of events that ranges from puppet shows to comedy and rock music to theatre, The Tower has achieved a public and professional status that is second to none.
