These classes form a structured, progressive course, carefully designed to build musical understanding step by step. Lessons use an aural-kinaesthetic approach, combining singing, movement, rhythm games, and socially interactive activities to develop core musical skills in a natural and enjoyable way.
The class is ideal both for children who are not yet learning an instrument (as preparation for future instrumental study) and for those who already learn an instrument or sing, as it complements instrument lessons by strengthening rhythm, pitch awareness, listening, and musical confidence.
In addition to musical development, parents often notice wider benefits, including:
- Improved focus and attention
- Growing social skills and confidence
- Better coordination
- Listening and turn-taking skills
- Pattern recognition
Classes are kept small and friendly, and we place a strong emphasis on creating a calm, positive, and encouraging learning environment where each child feels supported.
Parents often tell me this work makes a noticeable difference to their child’s instrumental progress.
