Our Active and Adventure Camps are fun, active and engaging School holiday camps, loved by kids and parents alike.

Our Active Camps are aimed at children aged between 4-14 who enjoy lots of variety, with enjoyment being the number one priority! Our fun-filled programme includes a huge variety of activities including arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, team games and challenges and so much more. We also have our WOW activities (subject to availability) which include quad bikes, go karts and even giant inflatables, to name a few. Every day is different and always engaging, exciting and loads of fun.

Our Active Adventure Camps are designed for children aged 6-14 who love being outdoors. With a wide range of activities, including nature trails, mini-beast hunting, den and raft building, whittling workshops, canoeing, kayaking, swimming (where available), and much more, there's always something exciting to do. If your child enjoys muddy mornings and adventurous afternoons, this is the perfect camp for them.

We are Ofsted registered and all our camps are run by qualified staff, who are often teachers and coaches themselves. Children are encouraged to participate in a range of activities, tailored to the children by our talented on-site, activity leaders with engagement and enjoyment being at the forefront of everything we do.

What to expect

The Multi-Active programme is designed for 5-14s, with children grouped by age, and activities from 8.15am to 5.30pm.

The amazing Red Tops kick off each week with a whole camp warm up, group games and activities. Throughout the week children enjoy core sports sessions (including swimming at many locations), as well as active games and activities that foster friendships and learning. Multi-Active includes highlight activities such as Wet Wednesday and Coaches Challenges. Each week ends with the Kings Games - an opportunity for families to see what their children have been up to and join in the fun.

For 15 -17s there is Rookie Academy. A programme that provides practical coaching and work experience as well as participation in sport with like-minded friends. Rookies work alongside the Red Tops, many who go on to work for Kings and is a great addition to Records of Achievement, and a perfect start for a career working with children

Outdoor Pursuits Activity Camps

Barfield School has its very own award-winning outdoor pursuits department which is based on site and makes full use of the extensive grounds.

Three Peaks Barfield offers Holiday Activity Camps for children in Reception to Year 8 and these are open to both pupils and non-pupils. The centre also runs Birthday Parties, Sports Courses and activity programmes for Youth and Corporate Groups.
