Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre

One of the biggest Sea Life Centres in the country, the Great Yarmouth centre is home to a spectacular tropical shark display, one resident of which is Britain's biggest shark 'Nobby' the Nurse Shark. The same fantastic display with its walkthrough underwater tunnel, also features the wreckage of a World War Two aircraft. There are countless more delights here to absorb and fascinate, including over 50 native species ranging from shrimps and starfish to sharks, stingrays, conger eels and lots more. There are plenty of reminders too, of Great Yarmouth's rich fishing heritage which saw this resort grow steadily from a narrow sandbank to become one of the east coast's leading holiday destinations.

Kids days out in Norfolk

BeWILDerwood is an award winning wild and imaginative outdoor adventure park. With magical treehouses and hints of intriguing characters, BeWILDerwood brings a curious difference to the Norfolk Broads.

BeWILDerwood is home to enchanting creatures such as Boggles, Twiggles, the Thornyclod Spider and vegetarian Crocklebogs! The setting for the book, “A Boggle at BeWILDerwood”, by local children’s author Tom Blofeld, gives children the chance to follow in the footsteps of the lead character Swampy, a 2ft Marsh Boggle with a taste for adventure. High in the trees there are miniature Twiggle villages and low in the marshes Boggle village life will captivate your imagination.

Attractions include the Broken Bridge where you have to walk over invisible glass 7 metres above the ground, the Wobbly Wires, a daring zip wire slide and the Slippery Slopes, not for the faint hearted.

No matter how young (or old!) you are, if you’re brave enough you can clamber, crawl, climb, slide and swing your way around our mystical world, creating your own adventure. Parents are encouraged to play alongside their children, which makes for a fabulous and brilliantly exciting time for the whole family.

Fantabulous events run throughout the season and we do great birthday parties!
