Exmoor Coast Holidays
Caffyns Farm finds itself as a contradiction, close enough to smell the sea air despite being a stone's throw from woodlands; exciting in it's immediacy to outstanding tourist sites yet in its secludedness.
A family friendly non-booking pitch-free relaxed campsite (complete with a ensuite B&B & self contained Family Suite that sleeps 6 for the non-campers) set high overlooking the Valley of the Rocks and Lynton & Lynmouth, this working farm has diversified to include many points of interest in recent years.
The onsite bar/restaurant located within a converted Doomsday Book-old stone barn offers a home to home. From eating freshly-made flavoursome food to drinking cider brewed from our 3000-tree strong farm apple orchard to even feasting with the goats via Devon's only Goat Cafe the hospitality contained within these old stones will not leave you disappointed.
The 12 acre orchard offers itself as breathtakingly peaceful paradise to get lost within on the short 25 minute walk down to our nearest beach which also takes you past many of our more social animals such as the donkeys, turkeys, chickens & sheep who are always welcome for a farmyard natter. Our own craft cider made is sold in our fully stocked camping/farm shop (alongside the bar) which contains many camping essentials and locally sourced products.
Horse Riding gives you a different perspective with which to explore the farm and the majesty of surrounding Exmoor. As the only coastal trekking centre that caters for all ages (5+) we have a number of different options and lengths of ride to suit everyone from the first timer to the seasoned riding veteran.
So from camping to horse riding to cider drinking to goat schmoozing we feel Caffyns has everything a campsite could ever dream of and just a little more.
