Maple Hayes Dyslexia School

Maple Hayes is an independent day school for up to 120 children aged 7-17 years. The school stands in extensive wooded grounds and sportsfields set in 200 acres of farmland and deer park, close to the historic city of Lichfield. It is one of the small, select number of specialist schools that are inspected and approved by the Department for Education and Skills under the 1996 Education Act and is approved especially for its provision for Dyslexic Children.

Maple Hayes has the reputation of being a caring and friendly school which prides itself on its purposeful, structured, and well-disciplined environment where teachers know the individual, encouraging pupils to take pride in all they do and the results they achieve, at whatever level of their ability. Small classes ensure maximum individual attention. Experienced, well-qualified and specially trained staff assist the Principal and Headmaster in teaching the usual school subjects in a well balanced curriculum.
