Tuition for Dyslexic Children in Shropshire

CReSTeD provides a Register of schools approved for their dyslexia provision. The Register is supplied free of charge to parents and is updated twice a year. Schools are divided into four categories to help parents and their advisors match the provision to the pupil’s requirements.

Dyslexia Action is an educational charity, founded in 1972, for the assessment and teaching of people with dyslexia and training for specialist teachers.

Dyslexia Action provides a national network of 27 main centres and some 150 linked learning centers, offering individual assessments by Chartered Psychologists and qualified Teacher Assessors and screening for schools, colleges and other organisations. Tuition is provided in literacy, mathematics and study skills using our own highly successful teaching methods and materials. Dyslexia Action carries out over 7,000 assessments each year and currently provides specialist tuition for over 3,000 children in its Centres, outposts and school units. The effectiveness of Dyslexia Action teaching methods and materials has been warmly praised by thousands of grateful children and their parents.

Bridge Psychology is led by Dr Peter Corr, consultant clinical psychologist.

I undertake clinical and diagnostic assessments of neurodevelopmental and psychological conditions, learning and cognitive abilities, to support accessing other services or as part of applications for EHCP (Education Health Care Plan). I am also available to provide supervision and bespoke training. I work with, and for, individual families, independent and public sector organisations, Court and legal services.

Reduced rates are available for parents & carers and fixed (the price you pay won’t change and increase over time!) quotes can be provided upon request
