Jemstones – Building confidence through performing arts & Rhythmic Jems – Music, movement and drama for Early Years
Jemstones is all about building confidence for children 6-14 years. We play games and have fun learning about drama. We also cover basic singing and dancing. Team work, Self-belief, Concentration, Cooperation, Imagination, Respect, Self-discipline, Coordination, Resilience.
Subjects include facial expression, body language, projection, voice work, character, improvisation, script work, rhythm, mime, singing, dance, stage presence and much more.
Rhythmic Jems is a music, movement and drama class for 2 – 6 year olds.We have fun with instruments, moving our bodies in a variety of ways and pretending.
Skills developed in class are emotional awareness, listening, concentration, communication, speech and language, rhythm. Classes help with their social and emotional development which is vital as they grow and start primary school, secondary school, college and become adults. The skills they learn in their early years are incredibly important and help set them up for life.
