About Appuldurcombe House & Isle of Wight Falconry Centre

Ideally situated on the South side of the Island, just 2 miles in from the coast, we have wonderful child friendly cottages at both Ventnor & Shanklin.

The partially restored shell of the House and the grounds are the home of the Owl & Falconry centre, with exciting flying displays daily featuring many different owls & birds of prey from around the world. You can learn to fly a bird on our residential or non-residential courses “Become a Junior Falconer”

Set around the 300 acre Estate are seven self-catering cottages. Most are ‘listed’, some with private gardens. Each cottage is completely different & family friendly.
