About The Model Village

The model village now consists of two of the Isle of Wight's prettiest villages - Shanklin Old Village and Godshill. The models are made from coloured cement, many with thatched roofs. Everywhere there are hundreds of miniature trees and shrubs, all chosen for their willingness to respond to our 'coarse Bonsai' treatment.
