About National Space Centre
Leicestershire
The National Space Centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated to space science and astronomy.
There are more than 250 exhibits including around 50 interactive exhibits – both physical and computer based – where visitors can explore the universe hands-on, from operating a Martian ‘rover’ to simulating a doomsday scenario by hurling a giant asteroid to earth. Attractions also include a walk through a full-scale model of Europe’s Columbus module and a space show in the Space Theatre.
