We are a leading performing arts academy located in Marylebone, London

We offer children aged 3-18 years the highest standard of teaching in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama. Classes are taught by current West End performers and industry professionals, who are passionate about nurturing our pupils love for performing arts; creating an environment where children can gain new skills, improved confidence and lifelong friendships. Taught by a qualified and experienced team of teachers, our pupils follow the IDTA syllabus in Ballet, Tap and Jazz with opportunities to take LAMDA examinations in Drama and Singing. We also offer classes in Street Jazz, Lyrical Jazz and Musical Theatre giving pupils the chance to experience a wide range of styles and skills to further their learning.

Our regular classes run after school Monday to Friday from 3:30pm onwards and all day on a Saturday.

Holiday Camps & Workshops
During the holidays throughout the year, the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance runs holiday camps for children aged 3 to 16. Every camp has a different theme and will cover all aspects of performing arts including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Drama and Singing. Children are grouped based on age. At the end of an exciting week, parents are invited to come along and watch their children perform.

The camps run from 9:30am to 4:00pm and children can attend for the full week or on a daily basis. We also offer morning only sessions from 9:30am to 1:00pm.

“We recently worked with Smart Raspberry for our discovery week. Our theme was Mind, Body and Soul. We were given amazing options for our cooking class and they were able to work with our date and time constraints. In the end, we chose smoothies and a noodle salad. We are a London club that specialises in teaching 4-15yrs children skateboarding

With our highly trained instructors in a funky, cultural venue we aim to teach kids the basics of skateboarding, whilst allowing them to make new friends, learn skilful tricks, and maintain an interest in a type of exercise that is fun to do.

We focus on teaching children skate park skateboarding and street skateboarding and work to a wristband system which means children can earn different colour wristbands the more they do.

Skateboarding is particularly good for co-ordination and motor skills and as it crosses the midline of the body (Occupational Therapists recommend this for SEN needs because it strengthens core balance).

We run Weekend Beginner Sessions; Holiday and Afterschool Clubs; Skateboarding Parties and Private Lessons for individuals or groups. See website for dates and times.

La Sylvaine and Wendy Bell Ballet Schools have been established since 1975 offering girls and boys an introduction in Ballet and Dance in Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham. The schools operate in various locations, and also run Dance Clubs in a number of private and state schools throughout Central London.

• Ballet classes are offered in either English or French for children aged from 3-18 years. From Age 6 the Ballet School follows the RAD Syllabus
• Hip Hop and Street Dance for boys and girls from age 8
• We prepare older children for Vocational Schools, such as Arts Educational and Royal Ballet School (entry at 11 & 18)

Our classes are taken by fully qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about encouraging your child to have fun and reach their potential in a friendly and positive atmosphere. RAD exams can be taken but are not compulsory. The school performs regular shows or end of year presentations. Every five years, a professional production is staged in a London West End theatre.
