Started by David Hammerson, who decided to combine his love of science, teaching and entertaining his grandchildren, Science Boffins have expanded into country-wide children’s party proprietors. The Boffins now perform their exciting experiments at kids’ parties, birthday parties and primary schools throughout England and Scotland.

Science Boffins run a variety of parties, designed for children between 3-12. Younger children (3-5 years old) can enjoy a mystical fairytale themed party of bubbles and balloons, whereas older children can enjoy more in-depth science parties with slime, dry-ice and rocket launches amongst the options available. In fact, Science Boffins kid’s parties can be tailored to such an extent that you can get the ideal science party themed to fit your child’s wildest imaginations.

Science is a messy business but don’t worry, our Boffins are safe as houses (and even safer when they are in your house). Our hands-on experiments are specifically designed to be as fun and safe as possible, and children will only be allowed to get involved in our experiments when our Boffins know they will be completely safe. Not only are all the Science Boffins fully trained in all aspects of science safety, but they are also fully CRB checked for complete piece of mind.

Science is, of course, all about the evidence. So, what do people who have experienced a Science Boffins party think?

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for sending us Dave on Saturday for Charlie's party. The children and the adults -loads of which weren't going to stay but ended up transfixed and watched the whole show! Dave was brilliant and had every child focussed which was saying something in the heat! The feedback I received was brilliant and many of Charlie's school friends shared their experience and their pot of slime at school's show and tell time on Monday. I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you to Science Boffins, and in particular, Boffin Nicholas for a great party last Friday.
